The engine power figures for the S.A.M. performance engine computer upgrade (ECU) mentioned below are minimum and are measured with unleaded petrol 98 RON and original air filter and exhaust system. The power figures can also be higher depending on upgrade on market and engine version and how much power the engine has as original.
All engine accessories are made for engines with catalytic converter unless something else is stated.
When you are ordering a performance engine computer upgrade for a car that is sold on a market outside Sweden please let us know the original engine computer number. For example: Bosch 0 261 204 448 or Siemens S103955402G.

Performance engine computer upgrade for Turbo engines (not Diesel)
The max engine torque improves with 20-40% depending on engine type. For power figures please see below for your engine. The increased power provides a "new car" with very good performance and driveability.
The fuel consumtion is the same as original when not using the power and torque increase and using the same fuel quality.

Performance engine computer upgrade for Turbo Diesel engines (TDI)

The performance engine computer (ECU) upgrades fit to the following engine types:

Performance engine computer upgrade for aspirated engines (not Turbo & not Diesel)
The upgrade increases the torque in the middle range rpm (2.000-4.500 rpm) with 6-10% and the power in the middle range with 10-15 hp. The big improvement is the engine torque and respons which will improve the driveability of the car which means that it makes the car more lively and responsive and require less gear changing. It removes flat spots, hesitations and jerkiness at low speeds. This makes in-town driving a pleasure once more with a smooth and progressive engine respons. The performance figures for the engine are measured with unleaded petrol 98 RON. The fuel consumtion can in some cases decrease with (reduce by) up to 1 litre per 100 km depending on the used fuel quality.

Sports high-flow air filters
The sports air filters design permits very high air flow, minimum restriction and maximum filtration, resulting in an increase of both the horsepower on some models, the torque and the engine response of the car. The sports air filters also improve fuel economy on some models. The most economical way to give your car more power and sporty sound! Replaces original air filter without any modification. The filters are delivered pre-oiled and ready to install and are reusable after cleaning.

Recommended service/cleaning. Service more often in offroad or heavy dust conditions.
Jamex: Every 60.000 km (40.000 miles). For maximum effiency clean every 10.000 km.
K&N: Every 80-160.000 km (50-100.000 miles).

Performance air filter kit
The performance air filter kit replaces original air filter and air filter box. This in order to make the air flow going as straight and simple as possible into the engine. Cold air intake system and all mounting details and instructions are included in the kit. (Cold air, being denser, shows improvements in power over warm air drawn from the engine compartment.) The design permits very high air flow, minimum restriction and maximum filtration, resulting in an increase of both the horsepower on some models, the torque and the engine response of the car. The performance air filter kit also improve fuel economy on some models. The most economical way to give your car more power and sporty sound! The filter is delivered pre-oiled and ready to install and are reusable after cleaning.

Recommended service/cleaning every 65.000 km (40.000 miles).
Service more often in offroad or heavy dust conditions.

Aluminized sport exhaust systems
Made of high quality aluminized steel with tail pipe in polished stainless steel. Optimizes the power and the torque over the whole range and gives a sporty sound and look. The power increase is approx. 5 hp. Is delivered complete with all mounting details.

Chrome steel sport exhaust systems
Made of high quality chrome steel with tail pipe in polished stainless steel. Optimizes the power and the torque over the whole range and gives a sporty sound and look. Is delivered complete with all mounting details.

Stainless steel sport exhaust systems
Made of high quality stainless steel with life time corrosion warranty. Optimizes the power and the torque over the whole range and gives a sporty sound. The power increase is 10-15 hp for down pipe (sport manifold) incl. race catalytic converter and approx. 5 hp for sport exhaust system from catalytic converter and backwards depending on upgrade on market and engine version. The sound is sporty and at the same time comfortable. Is delivered complete with all mounting details. (No mounting instruction is needed.) It is possible to mount the down pipe and the exhaust system together or separate.

Engine protection plate (sump guard/protective skidplate)
Engine protection plate protects the engine from underneeth damages when driving on bad roads. Suitable for road use as well as for competition use. The plate is made of hard 5 mm thick aluminium plate. Delivered complete with mounting kit. (Welding of nut plates to the subframe is necessary.)

Limited slip differential unit
A unique concept in differential technology suitable for road and racing applications. The device itself sustains differential torque across driven axles and directs the greatest torque to the tyre with the best grip, offering improved action particulary in adverse conditions with enhanced handling and cornering.

Excellent packaging results in a direct replacement for the existing open differential. Proven durability on road and track. Senses torque, does not require prior wheel slip. Operates in conventional lubricants including ATF. Contstant performance with respect to speed, torque and temperature. ABS compatible. Supplementary to, and compatible with, electronic traction control.

BRAKE

High performance brake discs
Special material and grooved disc surface provide improved braking temperature range, exceptional bite and reduction in brake fade. The grooves reduce the build up of gas between the pad and the disc face and keep the pads and the brake disc clean (automatic de-glazing). The discs have the same dimensions as the original discs. (If you are not sure which dimensions your brake discs have, please contact us.) Can be used together with standard brake pads but we recommend high performance brake pads.

Brake hoses
Brake hoses kit with aeronautic steel braided hoses. Offers extra protection against damage and resist expansion when the brake fluid within them is under pressure. (Standard hoses can "stretch" under pressure, resulting in a "spongy" feel.)

High performance brake kit front
Complete brake kit for the front. Suitable for high performance road vehicles as well as for competition use. A brake kit designed for the demanding driver who often keeps the speed up and needs reliable braking facilities. The kit will result in increased braking power in addition to reduced fade and race car looks. The kit is consisting of:

• 2 x high performance brake discs, ventilated and drilled, dimension 325x28 mm
• 2 x lightweight alloy anodised mounting bell
• 2 x 4 piston alloy brake calipers
• 1 x kit high performance brake pads
• 2 x steel braided brake hoses.
• 1 x all mounting details

Note: This kit is only possible to use in combination with 17" wheels due to the fact that the brake discs diameters are increased.

SUSPENSION

Sport spring kit
A sport spring kit gives your car not only great road stability but also the close-to-the-road appearance of a sportscar. Because the car is lowered there will be an improvement in the ground effect of the car and the centre of gravity will be lowered. The sports springs have progressive windings with red powder coat finish. The springs have been developed to be able to be used together with standard shock absobers. In order to have the most benefit of the sport springs the standard shock absorbers should be at least 90% efficient or sport shock absorbers should be mounted. Can not be used in combination with levelling system.

Sport shock absorbers
The sport shock absorbers improves the road holding and the stability of your car while driving comfort is retained, combined with a higher level of safety. Its characteristics include responsive steering, less body-roll and limited body movements when braking and accelerating, all leading to a direct feel and excellent wheel/road contact. Can be used in combination with both sport and original springs. The shock absorbers are gas-charged and approximately 30% stiffer than original.

The front shock absorbers consists of a complete Mc Pherson strut. The colour of the shock absorbers is yellow. Can not be used in combination with levelling system.

Suspension kit
The ultimate roadholding kit for the driver who wants the very best in roadholding. The kit consists of 4 sport springs and 4 sport shock absorbers. For technical details please see sport spring kits and sport shock absorbers mentioned here above.

WHEEL/TYRE

Wheel spacers & extended wheel bolts
Spacers allowing to increase the track in order to mount special wheels, make your car look good or to improve the road holding. The spacers are made of aluminium and have a unique aligning system eliminating possible balance and run-out problems of the wheels. When mounting the spacers extended wheel bolts are required.

Light alloy wheels
Fit to all 850 and C/S/V70 models with 5 bolts (108/5).

Tyres

STRUT BRACE

Strut brace
Designed for competition use, a strut brace is an ideal tuning part to fit on a road car. The installation of a strut brace in your car will strengthen the front suspension and reduce the flexing of the bodywork of your car. This will result in, for instance, the suspension geometry is kept stable, more direct steering response, improved road holding and reduced tyre wear. It also provides your car with a sportive and stylish apearance in the engine compartement.

The tube is made of steel and have excentric bolt fixations in order to have the possibility to adjust the length. This simplifies fitting of the strut without reducing stiffness and allowing pre-tensioning. The mounting plates are made of steel and all steel parts have a special surface treatment (zinc alloy). The installation is made by using the original top mounting screws for the suspension without any modifications.

STYLING EXTERIOR

Sport radiator grill
Sport radiator grill made of dull black ABS plastic with black aluminium net. Quick and very easy to mount. Can be painted but doesn’t need to, if you want to keep it black.

Light brows (lampspoilers)
Made of dull black ABS plastic. Quick and easy to mount. No holes has to be drilled. Can be painted but doesn’t need to, if you want to keep them black. (Some cars are equipped with headlight wipers. When mounting the light brows on these cars the wipers will touch the light brows when using them. The wiping functions but the wiping is less effective.)

Roof spoilers
Roof spoilers that give your car a individual and sporty look. The spoilers are delivered varnished with primer complete with mounting kit. No holes have to be drilled.

The brake light is of the LED type and consists of 40 diodes. The diodes reaches full lightpower much faster than bulbs. The result is that the drivers behind are warned much faster and this in combination with high positioned brake light improves the traffic safety. The brake light is integrated in the spoiler. The plastic glas is smoke coloured transparent and intergrates with the colour of the spoiler/car. When the brake light lits the diods are shining with a powerful red light.

Trunk spoilers
Trunk spoilers that give your car a individual and sporty look. The spoilers are delivered unpainted. Painting instructions as well as complete mounting kit are attached. Two holes have to be drilled in the trunk.
